Bring your best skills and your long game to the Trenton Free Public Library at 120 Academy Street. Starting today, and over the next several months, the new Adult Art Club will take place on Saturday mornings from 11:00 a.m. to Noon in the Poetry Cafe. This your chance to get professional instruction and free supplies on February 15, March 21, April 18, May 23, June 20, July 18, and August 15.

The program is funded by a generous grant from “I Am Trenton” and Isles, and is open to the public, designed for 18 years-old and up, and requires no prior artistic experience. The first workshop focuses on working with graphite pencil and learning lighting and shading techniques. Different topics and techniques will be developed over the following sessions. The program concludes in September with a show of the best artwork in the library’s William E. Pedrick Exhibition Hall on the Mezzanine floor.
