Music education can be a transformative experience in the life of a child. Beyond acquiring a new skill, music is an incredible way for youth to get creative, keep their minds busy, and express themselves through the art of song. No matter your age or stage of life, creating and playing music remains a powerful tool for connecting with others and sparking joy in our day-to-day lives. If the child in your life is ready to embark on their musical journey, Zoey Violin is here with all the tools they need to get started.

On October 28th, as well as November 4th, the Zoey Violin team will make their way to the Trenton Free Public Library for an afternoon of exploration and song. Meetings will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm in the Community Room of the library, located at 120 Academy St., Trenton, NJ 08608. Throughout the afternoon, parents and families will have the opportunity to speak with representatives of Zoey Violin, learn more about their mission, and get youth connected with free violin rentals and lessons. Whether your child has been musically inclined for years or is just now expressing a curiosity in the musical arts, this is the perfect opportunity to get started.

Zoey Violin is a non-profit organization founded by Zoey Yu, a high school student on a mission to provide free and accessible violin education to children living in underserved communities. In addition to bringing accessible music education to children, Zoey Violin also hopes to instill a lifelong love of music and learning in the lives of participating students. Some of Zoey Violin’s key initiatives include weekly violin classes, community concerts performed by students, and workshops conducted by professional musicians. An unparalleled opportunity to get started in the world of music, this organization is doing the work to enrich the next generation of budding musicians.
