On Monday April 15th, Mayor Reed Gusciora kicked off the 2019 street millings and pavings by helping to mill part of Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard at Southard Street. The City will be focusing its efforts on dozens of streets across Trenton in need of repaving.
“Revitalizing our roads is crucial to improving quality of life for our residents,” said Mayor Gusciora. “We have big plans for road repairs this year, and Trenton is starting to get the level of funding for these projects it deserves. Last year, we received zero dollars from the Transportation Trust Fund. This year, we applied and received more than $1.1 million, which will go a long way in fixing our streets.”
The City’s receipt of this $1.1 million was covered in this TrentonDaily article https://www.trentondaily.com/mayor-gusciora-applauds-new-transportation-dollars-for-trenton/.
The City will repair up to 59 streets in 2019 across all four wards. For a full list of streets visit this link.
