NJTL of Trenton, which creates opportunities for success by enriching the lives of under-resourced youth through innovative tennis, education, and mentor in programs, will celebrate its 28th Annual Gala on Sunday, September 25, 2022, from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Mercer County Tennis Center and The Boat House at Mercer Lake.
Long-time supporters Paul Decker, CEO of Mathematica, and Bill Whyte, Head of Janssen Pharmaceuticals North America Strategic Partnerships, will be honored at the event for their dedication to junior tennis and learning programs in Trenton and beyond.
The World Champion Bryan Brothers, the only doubles team to win all four Grand Slams, all nine Masters 1000s, the ATP Finals and the Olympics, will be returning as special guests, beginning with a special exhibition. Proceeds from this signature event directly benefit our Trenton-area kids. With this support, we continue to create opportunities for success through innovative tennis, education, and mentoring programs, designed to prepare student-athletes for college admission and career placement.
Active in local non-profits and on the tennis courts, Andrew Lieu is returning to serve as Chair of the Gala. Long-standing supporters Albert Stark, Ginny Mason, and Jeff Perlman are Honorary Co-Chairs. The success of this event keeps NJTLT moving forward.
Sponsorships and Tickets – are now available at https://www.njtloftrenton.org/galas. A limited number of “40 Love” Tickets are available for guests under the age of 40 at $150 per person. We expect a sellout at this level.
Both honorees Paul Decker and Bill Whyte exemplify the kind of mentorship and support that make a difference in kids’ lives both on and off the courts. Thanks to supporters like them, kids have the opportunity through NJTL of Trenton to thrive in the classroom, on the courts and beyond.
Bob Loonie, NJTLT Executive Director, said the organization is excited that Bob and Mike Bryan are returning to join the celebration of NJTLT’s success in continually running programs throughout the pandemic. As World Champions, they understand the power of dedication, teamwork and perseverance.
