For over 60 years Trenton’s Pi Chapter of the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc. (NSPDK-Pi) has held an annual Goldenred Scholarship Luncheon. Over the years, the organization has awarded more than 500 scholarships through this initiative. With large gatherings on hold during the pandemic, NSPDK-Pi is finding new ways to continue their tradition in spite of the global pandemic.
“We won’t let COVID stop us from raising scholarship funds for our local seniors,” said NSPDK-Pi on their events page. This year, the organization will be hosting an online virtual bingo night. The event will take place on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.
For $13 a bingo card, or $16 for two, the community can partake in an entertaining chance to win prizes while also contributing to the NSPDK-Pi scholarship fundraiser. Players have a chance to win Bath & Bodyworks Gift Sets, a $25 gift card, a wine basket, a Versace bright crystal perfume set, a scratch off New Jersey lottery ticket cake, a 24 inch television and a designer bag.
