On Thursday, October 3, St. Francis Medical Center will provide an opportunity to learn more about its Schools of Nursing and Radiologic Technology. An Open House will be held from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for both Schools at Crean Hall Auditorium, located at 601 Hamilton Avenue in Trenton.

Prospective students will have an opportunity to tour the schools, meet faculty and staff, have questions answered and enjoy refreshments. Students of St. Francis Medical Center School of Nursing earn a diploma in nursing and an associate degree in science upon graduation through a longstanding cooperative partnership with Mercer County Community College. This two-year program offers nursing students excellence in nursing and clinical education.

The School of Nursing also offers an LPN to RN Transition program. Students of St. Francis Medical Center School of Radiologic Technology can become certified radiologic technologists with St. Francis’ two-year hospital-based program. Certified radiologic technologists are skilled in radiographic procedures, equipment operation, quality control, image production and evaluation, radiographic protection, and patient care and education.
