If you missed the Patriots Week Firewalk on Saturday evening, you have another great event to look forward to next year.  After the second battle of Trenton reenactment, the Assunpink Creek is lighted up.  This is just another unique celebration of the crucial role that Trenton played in the war that gave birth to our nation.  The New Jersey Historical Commission and Crossroads of the American Revolution were on hand to announce the winner of the Revolution NJ Logo Contest that will mark the 250th anniversary of the United States in 2026.  More about that next week.

There’s only one more day left as our Capital City harkens back to our country’s remarkable roots.

Monday, December 30th events:

  • Trenton Battlefield Walking Tour: Starbucks, 102 Warren Street, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Trenton’s Historic Legacy: The Old Barracks and the Trenton Battle Monument: 11 a.m. reservations required 267.201.3655 or historian.riverviewcemetary@gmail.com
