It may be hard to believe, but the start of the school year is again upon us. While we know that children will spend their days being enriched in school, what are we to do once the final bell of the day rings? Once school is out for the day, the learning does not need to stop there. If you are a parent or guardian searching for an enriching, rewarding after-school activity for your children, the City of Trenton’s free after-school program is perfect for spending those precious afternoon hours.

So why enroll in an after-school program? For many parents, this programming is a lifesaver, as many work days do not end until far after the school day has concluded. Additionally, after-school programs are an excellent opportunity for students struggling to get extra assistance outside the classroom. Furthermore, these programs allow students to connect with their peers, engage with their community, and continue learning even when school is out. From elementary school through high school and beyond, we could all use extra support, and this program promises precisely that.
Before the school year begins, make sure you have a plan for those after-school hours. Don’t delay; be sure to register today!
