Prepare for the return of RiverFest, an adored autumn celebration in Trenton. Mark your calendars for the 2023 edition, when people of all generations are invited to partake in the splendors of the Capital City. The festivities are set to commence at noon on Saturday, September 23rd. The venue for the day’s merriments is the iconic Trenton Thunder Ballpark at 1 Thunder Rd, Trenton, NJ 08611. Everyone is warmly welcome to join this occasion, as various activities and amusement await participants of all ages and life stages. Tickets for this beloved Fall festival are available at the following tiers:
- General Admission: $5 per guest
- General Admission w/ T-shirt: $25
Please note that if you opt for the t-shirt package, you must select your shirt size at the point of purchase. Shirts are in adult sizing, with S-3XL available to choose from. Shirts will then be available for pick-up at the box office the day of the event.
RiverFest, the region’s premier fall festival, celebrates everything related to the Capital City. If you’re an avid fan of pork roll, you’re in the right place – RiverFest’s menu, inspired by Trenton’s own Case’s Pork Roll, will feature a curious and creative assortment of sandwiches and other fare. From a classic pork roll sandwich to the Trenton burger, you will surely find a tantalizing selection for every family member. In addition to tasty treats and banging brews, a full lineup of activities is planned for the day’s festivities. Throughout the afternoon, guests can hear from several local acts. The lineup for this year includes:
- Dueling Pianos: 12 pm to 2 pm, performing in front of the Thunder Company Store on the Concourse
- Modern Mojo: 2 pm to 3 pm, 4 pm to 5 pm, performing near home plate on the field
There will also be many fun games and activities scattered throughout the Trenton Thunder Ballpark.
For the 8th year, RiverFest’s grand finale will be the annual Case’s Pork Roll Eating Championship. In true Trenton style, some of the world’s most skilled eaters will come to test their skills at the Trenton Thunder Ballpark. These eaters will have ten minutes to make their way through an impressive heap of pork roll to see who will be crowned the champion for the 2023 event.
