New eligible Kindergarten to 12 grade students will be able to register for the 2022-2023 school year in the Trenton School District tomorrow. Those looking to register their child in the Trenton School district will be able to do so at the Board of Education Auditorium 108 N. Clinton Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08609.

Registration applications are available at 108 N. Clinton Ave., online, and at their local school. Before arriving, please be advised that parents must bring the following information and a completed registration application to pre-register their child for September.

Parents must have the child’s original birth certificate, health and immunization records. If the parent is registering & transferring the child simultaneously, they must have an acceptance Letter from the Charter School.

If the family owns a house in Trenton, they may bring an original deed or property tax bill or closing statement or agreement of sale. If families do not have that, documents with the home address will be accepted. The Trenton School District requires that families bring two of the following documents: utility bill, any insurance documents, pay stub, car registration, and monthly benefits statement.

For renters, families must either bring an official lease with an expiration date or two of the secondary documents listed above may be provided by a renter and/or landlord.

Lastly, for those in alternate or temporary living arrangements, families may bring a Notarized Affidavit of residence (living with family/friend or homeless), or the host family is required to provide a notarized letter along with two proofs of residency in the homeowner’s name.
