The health of you and your family is of the utmost importance, and through important resources like Medicaid, families are better-equipped to handle any medical event or emergency that comes their way. But for many, the process of enrollment can be arduous and confusing, presenting a barrier to accessing the care that so many desperately need. To help get you equipped with the resources your family needs to thrive, the Trenton Public School District has announced a number of Medicaid enrollment events to walk you through each phase of the process.
Beginning on July 11th and continuing throughout the month, the Trenton Public School District invites you and your family to take advantage of Medicaid enrollment assistance. Thanks to advancements in healthcare legislation, all children in New Jersey are now eligible to receive medical coverage regardless of their immigration status. Now more than ever, it’s critical that New Jersey’s kids are covered, and help is available to streamline this important process.
NJ Family Care representatives will be on site to offer support, assistance, and answer any questions that you may have. The enrollment events will be held in the Ellis Auditorium of the Trenton Board of Education headquarters, located at 108 North Clinton Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08609. Events will be held at the following dates and times:
- July 11th: 10am to 1pm
- July 12th: 1pm to 3pm
- July 18th: 3pm to 6pm
- July 19th: 1pm to 3pm
- July 25th: 10am to 1pm
- July 26th: 3pm to 6pm
If you plan on attending one of these events, please come prepared with the following documentation:
- A driver’s license or state ID
- Birth certificate
- Social Security card
- US passport
- Permanent resident card
- Proof of income
Please also come prepared with either a paystub, employer letter, or tax return. NJ Family Care staff will be on-site to help families get their children enrolled.
