Summer is sweet, and there’s no better way to kick off the season than with a treat. An afternoon of sensational sundaes awaits at the Trenton City Museum, where you and your family are invited to an afternoon of sugary-sweet fun for a cause.
On Sunday, June 11th, the Trenton City Museum will host a one-of-a-kind fundraiser, “Sundays on the Veranda.” The event will occur from 1 pm to 4pm at the Ellarslie Mansion at 299 Parkside Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Guests of all ages are welcome to enjoy a mouth-watering sundae, spend some time with community members, and enjoy the picturesque scenes of the Trenton City Museum. In addition, guests will have the ability to build their sundaes with all the classic toppings at the following tiers:
- For $6, sundaes are available in disposable bowls for children six and under who are accompanied by an adult.
- For $10, sundaes are available for adults in disposable bowls
- For $20, guests can enjoy a sundae in a hand-crafted ceramic bowl. Once you pick out your bowl and enjoy your sundae, you’re welcome to take the piece home as a souvenir to reuse or display!
The fundraiser is a fun and accessible way to support one of Trenton’s most significant cultural institutions while enjoying some sweets along the way. This annual event is a fan-favorite and is undoubtedly the perfect way to welcome the warmer months in the Capital City. Tickets are available at the door, so day-of attendees are welcome. Of course, the fantastic features you see on display at the Trenton City Museum would not be possible without the Trenton Museum Society. This devoted group of stakeholders has devoted themselves to preserving Trenton’s history and working tirelessly to bring fascinating educational and community enrichment to the region. The Trenton Museum Society is integral to bringing the Trenton City Museum to life and is responsible for the organization’s exhibits, programming, and staff. If you can’t make it out to sundaes, you can still support the Trenton Museum Society by donating here: Donate – TSM.
