On Sunday, January 20th from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the New Jersey State Museum Auditorum, the New Jersey Martin Luther King Jr. Commission will be presenting “The Economic Dream.”

This year’s program will include Secretary of State Tahesha Way, guest speakers Sabrina Lamb and Department of Education Commissioner Dr. Lamont O. Repollet, music, and arts all of which will honor the life and legacy of Dr. King. This is a FREE event and is open to the general public. So invite your friends, families, colleagues, neighbors, and those who may be interested in attending an event that reminds us that justice, equality, and peace are attainable. Dr. King said, “We refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity in this nation.” We look forward to you joining us at this year’s commemorative event!”

The New Jersey Martin Luther King Jr. Commission continuously works to raise public awareness of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s ideals and philosophy. The Commission includes notable individuals in the Trenton area including Samuel Frisby Sr. and Linda Coles (Manager of Media Relations at NJM).
