Just bring your work gloves and a friendly attitude to the Trenton Battle Monument park (corner of Warren & Pennington Avenues in Trenton) for some fresh air and fun clean-up activities.
You’ll be joining the Kiwanis Club of Trenton in their semi-annual outing to spruce up the neighborhood center and enjoy some comradery. The team gets started at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, and works until noon or so.
Founded in downtown Trenton in 1918, the KCT is committed to improving the lives of children in the city of Trenton and beyond through service projects, which include providing book bags and supplies at the start of a new school year, raising funds to enable summer camp experiences and serving hot meals to all ages during Thanksgiving week, among other good works.
For more information on the clean-up, call Mike McCormick at (609) 208-9991. Or, you can simply show up – for a monumental experience!
