On Friday June 26th, 2020 between 12 noon and 2:00 p.m. an emergency free farm market will be available for individuals struggling to provide necessities for their families. The event will take place at the Cure Auto Insurance Arena (parking lot #2) at 81 Hamilton Avenue in Trenton.

In response to the devastation of COVID-19, several organizations have partnered to provide donated food to people who need it the most. Individuals looking to take part in this event should be prepared to arrive early as there is only a limited supply of goods.

The farm market will be open and available to anyone who needs food during this difficult time. Fresh fruit, vegetables and dairy will be available while supplies last. Individuals looking to collect supplies will not be required to present identification or fill out any type of registration prior to arriving.

All volunteers working this event will be outfitted with the proper safety gear (masks, gloves and hand sanitizer. As for the pickup of goods, volunteers will be maintaining social distancing policies and keeping contact to a minimum. With this in mind individuals collecting goods will be presented with two options to minimize contact: the first of which would be allowing volunteers to load goods into the trunk of your vehicle and the second (for those without vehicles) will be a safe walk up option.

This event is being sponsored by Rolling Harvest Food, Zone 7, the American Dairy Association, Solebury Orchards, and the United Way of Greater Mercer County.
