On Tuesday, April 12th, the New Jersey State Library invites you to their next upcoming webinar, “Distracted Driving: Tips for Road Safety”. This conversation, which will be held virtually on Zoom, will take place from 12pm to 1pm. Your host for the afternoon will be Noelle Santos, a Public Education Coordinator for the Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey. Distracted driving is a phenomena which costs the lives of countess Americans each year. In fact, the data suggests that approximately 3,000 people die each year due to accidents caused by distracted drivers. Noelle Santos will be on site to teach drivers how to navigate free of distractions and demonstrate how everyone can share the road safety. She will also discuss strategies for drivers to prevent crashes and to understand pedestrian safety. Ms. Santos currently serves as a Public Education Coordinator for the Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey with a focus on transportation safety. She recently graduated from Rutgers University last May with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a minor in Sociology. Prior to her current work, Noelle interned for the Trauma and Injury Prevention Department at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital
