Suppose it’s been a while since you’ve seen a movie about Trenton developed with Trenton residents. In that case, you must see The Trenton Project’s documentary, “Strong Ties, New Roots,” on November 11, 2023, from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1140 Greenwood Avenue in Trenton. It’s FREE and open to the public. Childcare and refreshments will also be provided.

This group of student mini-documentaries, presented in English and Spanish, focuses on the immigrant experience in Trenton. A discussion with community leaders will follow it.

The Trenton Project works in partnership with Trenton residents and institutions, Project Director, editor, and filmmaker Purcell Carson, the Princeton-Mellon Initiative in Architecture, Urbanization, and the Humanities, and students from the Princeton University course “Documentary Film and the City.”

See you there!
